Another Venom 2 playback issue - UHD version

Got to the last 15mins or so, near the end anyway and froze with venom on a tower, can't move the film forward and it says fully downloaded. 

 

Bit frustrating as it was rented for my 2nd lads 16th today. 

 

Going to try to fully delete and download again as suggested another thread, but I also see that didn't work for that person. 

 

Posting this so I have a record of the issue before contacting the Sky team. Wondering if the others having the issue also rented UHD?

I take it that you first pressed play less thsn

48 hours before it stopped ?

Brought it this evening, started the download, it said ready to play, we waiting a couple of mins and then started to play. 

 

Whats odd is it says it ends tomorrow night, 24hrs after we pucrchased it.. from reading other threads on Venom 2 and no time to die, I was expecting 48hrs. 

 

Regardless we've got redownloading at the moment.

Ah, no I see after reading more, becasue we pressed play we have 24hrs.. okies, thats fine. I just hope it downloads asap so we can test if it works.

Fully downloaded.. it stutters and goes quiet at the same spot it did previously and freezes, I can now fast forward, put as soon as I press play it lasts a couple of seconds and freezes again. 

 

So will contact the sky team in the morning.

I too would have expected 48 hours rather than 24 hours

 

I'm not at home to look at my Sky box but certainly on the Skystore app it says 48 hours (see screenshot)

 

perhaps clarify that also when you livechat
