Hey folks!
First time poster.
I've a home with Sky broadband, with Sky Q and 3 x Sky Q minis spread around the house.
In the last few months, with NO repositioning of any devices, the Sky Q box has started to randomly disconnect from the wifi, I either then need to restart the Q box or do a network reset. Then it connects, then in a day or two it happens again. This is becoming so frequent it suggests to me something isn't right.
Any clues on why this has started to happen ? The Sky Q box and Sky broadband router are nearly 2 years old, with no major issues previously.

Hi @nick_l
Welcome to the Sky Q forum.
Have you tried a router reset immediately before the Network reset on the Q box.
On Sky broadband first reset your broadband router by holding Reset on the back until the power light flashes green (about 10 seconds). Don't unplug or switch off your router while it resets. The power light will go green when it's done.
Wait until the router is completely back and running and then try a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router. Even if reset is not listed there is still an option to connect by WiFi to Sky router
As you are on Sky Broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.

Thank you for your reply.
sadly it's made no difference to the sky Q box. Totally refusing to connect using wps.
I've succeeded in saying it's another WiFi provider using the password and it's connected. We'll see if that sticks.
I'll confirm once it's had a day or so
