sky and uhd

I pay sky for uhd when I followed sky instruction for uhd I only have 8 bit. Can I still get uhd?

Yes you can @phil4u 

However you will not get HDR with the UHD.

HDR requires 10 bit

2160 8 bit is UHD but it cannot be used for HDR

 

Depending on your TV you probably should be able to set 10 bit and get HDR

 

To get 10 bit you are likely to need to change some settings in your TVs HDMI menus - off the top of my head these can be named Deep Color, Enhanced  & similar. On my Panasonic I needed to set the HDMI 4K mode
