Why I have Sky Q Mini box in my Network as other devices, not having it, no Wi-Fi connection to PC?

Why I have Sky Q Mini box in my Network as other devices, not having it, no Wi-Fi connection to PC?

I have scan registry for it, I had reset my network, I have no Wi-Fi, this appears all the time in my “Network”

Is it kind of virus from SKY not to forget it?

I have quitted service long time ago, why I have this annoying residue garbage?

Please help me get rid of it!!!

You might want to ask Microsoft since its their software that seems to have remembered it and doesn't want to let go

Hi @Pit_Koz   In windows, go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers, right click and remove the device if it bothers you.

All fine, but it does not exist in Devices and Printers

I checked all registry and nothing even similar to Sky Q mini box,

searched all computer for all traces of and for Sky Q and mini box.

No results.

So it is tracing from SKY leaving kind of spyware? I have to monitor my network connections for this purpose.

Asking Microsoft… nice suggestion, have you ever get from them any helpful answer?

But OK, what shall I ask them for and where, where to address this question??

Have you any idea?

Microsoft is a big unprofessionally managed institution with volunteering “helpers”  so it is tricky to address anything there.

I know many people who work or have worked there and have turned a job offer there down (probably a mistake given what their stock price has done since but anyway...) and yes I have had useful answers from them.

Have you tried toggling "hidden devices" in device manager? Or arp -d to clear the arp cache?

Hidden devices yes, bur never heard about arp -d? Where to put and what for is the command?

OK, I checked it and by arp -a command I did not find the mac from the Sky Q on list, so I guess cleaning cache for arp is not recommended…

And I have started post in Microsoft, it is so hidden and not really possible to direct to such cases group.

They have tagging system which is not really allowing/make possible to point to this type of questions.

Probably wasn't wise repeating the "virus" nonsense of you want your question to be taken seriously.

OK, but it looks really strange and beyond control.

Will not repeat it at all more.

There's no reason not to do so: the ARP table is recreated dynamically.
