When using mini boxes after 9 pm I am regularly getting the message you have too many mini boxes act

I currently have 4 mini boxes and fully aware that I can only use 2 at any time. Up until recently I have not had an issue with their usage. After 9pm I am constantly getting the message that there are too many boxes in operation. Despite running round the house and checking that all the other boxes are on standby the issue persists. I have even tried swapping a recently aquired new box with the one I was having issues with to no avail. The only two things that I found fixed the issue are

1) rebooting my hub and main q box

2) taking the mini box off standby 2 hours before going to bed.

This has only recently started to happen. Any advice????
