Whats this for?
Received my new SkyQ 2 terabyte today and this box was in there but it's not in the accompanying leaflet, what is it for?

That is a power supply for a 'V2' 2TB box.
I am guessing yours has a standard figure of 8 socket .
As @nigea99 indicates, it's an external mains transformer intended for a 2017 2TB v2 main Q box, matching the circular multi pin port marked in orange. If the Q box you received doesn't have this port then the transformer isn't required, and the box would use a standard IEC C7 'figure-8' power cable instead.
