Today I appear to have a different interface on my Sky Q Box..
I hate it - really slow and just doesn't make any sense ... Any way I can get back to the original interface ?
Why change something which worked ? Don't Sky have more important things to be updating than things like this...
Who the hell tested this crap...

I'm afraid not. You might be able to revert temporarily by forcing a software update, but it will update again to the current version soon after.

I think the DR stream is now carrying Q12, so that's no longer an option.

I can barely even get the touch remote to work with this crap software.. What kind of testing did they do when even the remote doesn't work properly..
And why are the horizonal menu's now in such a stupid small space..
I just don't understand why they changed it from how we had it before... Crazy...

I agree, it's total rubbish. It sometimes takes 30 seconds to delete a program and 10 to 15 seconds to open a recording page from the icon panel. When you finish watching a recording it goes to a line of buttons with delete but if you select the delete option from there it's random as to which recording of the series it will delete.
There is no way this has been tested.

I'm so glad my box hasn't updated yet then. I only ever watch recordings and those bugs would really annoy me.
Hopefully my box can continue to evade the update 😄

Couldn't agree more. The software was perfectly fine before now it's crap.
recordings freeze, it doesn't want to fast forward, really slow to update, and the most annoying thing is that the remote is now almost unusable. What cretins thought that introducing this rubbish, evidently without testing, would be a good idea.
sky, PLEASE undo it. We don't want this software.

Try a box reboot and unpair and re- pair your remote obviously this is not the answer you are wanting but if you aren't happy you can always revert back to the Sky+HD oh my dayz

Rather presumptuous of you to assume you have the authority to speak for everyone???
You most certainly don't have the right to speak on my behalf.🤷♂️

This forum seems to be full of Sky Q fanboys either on the payroll or in total denial. No matter how many people post pointing out detailed and blatantly obvious shortcomings of Sky Q, there is always someone ready to post along the lines of "I've had Sky Q since the early 18th century, I've never had a moment's problem with it and find the user interface intuitive, logical and inspiring"
It makes me laugh every time I see one.

Do you not see the irony of that statement?
I guess having "sky" in your username is a bit of a clue as to your impartiality on the subject.

Some of the higher level posters will have nothing bad said about the Q system or indeed Sky in general. Their opinions count for much more than us mere mortals i'm afraid.
