Watching sky in additional room
I'm looking at adding Sky to an additional room in our house but a bit confused on the difference between Multiroom and Whole Home/Sky Puck. I'm an existing Sky Q customer. What are my options?

Re: Watching sky in additional room
Whole Home is not related to Sky Q. For viewing Sky on another TV with Sky Q you need to order a Multiscreen subscription and a Sky Q mini box.
You can have a maximum of 4 mini boxes loaned to you by Sky. You can watch Sky content on two minis and the main box at the same time. You may be able to use a third mini box if the first one in use is being used for a streaming app ie: Netflix or DIsney+.
Be aware the original 1TB (non-UHD) Sky Q box only allows one mini to be in use. To check if you have the non UHD 1TB box check in:-
Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version
If it shows as 32Cxxx then you have a non UHD 1TB that only supports 1 active mini box.
All 2TBs and the UHD/HDR 1TB permit two mini boxes. Each mini box which is loaned to you may be subject to a one off upfront charge but you only need one Sky Q monthly Multiscreen subscription.

Thanks that's really helpful.
Is a Sky Puck an option for me?

hi @SarahM1823
SKY pucks are for use with SKY Glass / Stream & cannot be mixed with SKY Q
To have SKY Stream pucks you would need to switch completely

As a Sky Q customer it isn't an option for you as Pucks are for those with Sky Glass/Stream.

Hi @SarahM1823 Not unless you stop using Sky Q and change your subscription to Stream.
