Viewing U&Gold

I spoke to a Sky lady and asked for a price to move to Ultimate TV pack from Essentials.

She said Ultimate doesn't exist on Q, and the only route would be Sky Signature which would be £35.50 a month rather than the £15.00 I pay for Essentials which I declined for cost reasons.

When I persevered and stated I really wanted to be able to view U&Gold, and could this not be enabled as a channel she confirmed not and that the only recourse was Signature.

I had already declined moving to streaming tv only as I wish to continue with satellite/Q.

This seems perverse to me.

Can anyone else confirm the above/advise please.

You have been informed correctly. 

On SKY Q Ultimate is just the Netflix add on to Signature. 

U&Gold (& U&Alibi etc) are only availble as part of SKY Signature (or any older 'base' packages (variety or Entertainment I think) that some customers may still have).  You cannot add individual channels
