User guide for sky q remote

Sky installed a new sky q box for my parents who are both nearly 80 and turned up with no instruction manual for remote control, cannot find any instruction manual other than step by step guides or information online which they do not have access to, can someone please help!! Thanks

I'm not aware of there being a paper copy instruction guide for a Sky Q remote.

Thanks for your response, unfortunately Sky and other companies just assume that people all have the internet and are able to get this information online however my parents do not and now have a tv that they cannot navigate properly!! A Sky billing operative promised me he would send me an email with a guide attached however this was over 4 weeks ago now!! Pretty frustrated!

@KA119This may be the information you have found, unfortunately I can't find anything better. It includes a link that explains all the buttons.

If it is better you could always print the relevant bits off, unfortunately all firms seem to expect everyone to have access to everything and use it.

Some of these are quite recent & cover a lot more than we used to have on the box  - I haven't looked at many  others but they do seem to cover a few key features

my mum has alzheimer's and can not remember what the buttons on the remnants do, i also can not find any PRINTED !!  i know right , remember paper !!! anyways so i will have to print her the pages of the online guides i guess.

but come on sky 👎🏼 really how difficult can it be to print a quick reference, on off channel's and volume? very unfair to load another thing on to family and carers don't you think ? !!!!

yea thanks Bob that was going to be my angle , i have design software so i plan on taking some of the photos of icons etc and i'll try to make an A4 page which i'll laminate, fingers crossed it will help 🤞

@Trace247Click on the icon of a camera at the top when you make a new post, it will take a while to appear as it needs to be approved, it is too easy to slip dodgy things in photos.
