Upgrade Subscription/Home Error
Hi,
I have lost all services on my Sky Q box. Nothing comes up on Home, Recordings-basically nothing. Every single tab on the left tells me that I need to upgrade my subscription. As a result, recordings are all gone, Apps don't work, can't access the subscription channels.
Internet and connection are all fine, the viewing card is inserted correctly, I've followed the support pages and performed a software update (of which it times out and goes back to regular TV). If I go to a previously accessible via subscription channels and hit the red button to 'upgrade' (to see if it might re-enable said channel), it loads, and then presents me with a message:
"We'll be back soon. Something went wrong, but we're working on this. Please try again later.
MYSKY_1999"
The only option is then to exit. Box has been working fine all day. I have turned it off on the wall and restarted it. This also means that o can't use the Mini Box upstairs.
Is this a wider issue or has my box gone wrong? If it is the box, it'll be the third one this year...
Thanks in advance.
Dan

Re: Upgrade Subscription/Home Error
Managed to get it working myself. Advisor was next to useless:made me re-do everything g I'd already done, then wanted to send an engineer out at the end of the week, and even then I'd have been at work. For what they charge a month, that's poor.
Anyway, in Settings I could see Satellite and Internet were ticked, but Sky Go and Sky Mini or whatever it is underneath that were crossed. So I reactivated Sky Go. Tried it twice, it connected, and then everything came back and has worked since.
Sky boxes have been nothing but trouble this year, but only since I've had Fibre installed...
