Unwanted Subtitles

Subtitles are turned off in Settings Accessibility and always have been.

Yesterday evening subtitles suddenly appeared half way through an episode of Time Team that I was watching on the 4+ App. I selected another episode and this had subtitles.

This evening, halfway through an episode of Slow Horses on the Apple TV+ App subtitles appeared.

I've double checked Settings Accessibility and subtitles are set to off

Hopefully someone can solve this for me

Thanks. Once I knew it was definitely nothing to do with SkyQ settings I was able to follow your advice. However, it did take me a while to work out that it was the small green 'text' bubble with 3 lines in it at the top right of the screen that I had to watch to see it change.

Hi @PhilH47   App subtitles have nothing to do with Sky Q accessibility settings.  The subtitle settings are individual to the App. Normally set by moving the cursor up or down and choosing subtitles.

Try pressing the ? button, you can turn the subtitles on if they are off, and off if they are on.!
