Unable to get catch up / on demand on mini box.

Hello, I have a mini box linked to main Sky q box. On the mini, I can access TV guide and watch all channels,  and see recordings, but when I select catch up, on demand services, apps, etc, it says there is no internet connection. In settings on the mini box under network connections, there are ticks against connection to broadband router and connection to network. I have tried switching off router, switching off main sky q box and mini box but nothing has worked. Anyone able to help with any suggestions? TIA

Hi @Pamelajane 

Try a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically).

If you are on Sky Broadband and the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the router instead of the main Q box. If you do this make sure you press the Sky router WPS button and not the router reset button.

Hi @oldfella , thanks for your reply. Sorry,  should have mentioned that I've tried doing the reset this way as well with no success. Catch up, on demand, etc is all working perfectly fine on the main box, just not on the mini.

When you did the Network reset on the mini was the WPS light flashing on the mini?

If so did you press the WPS button on the main Q box within two minutes?

Will try again as maybe I didn't do it correctly. It's actually for my elderly dad and he's now watching football so will have to wait for an appropriate opportunity later on!!

Hi @Pamelajane 

Another thing to be aware of is to make sure that he is not trying to Download UHD on the mini as minis are not UHD capable.
