Hi all,
Today i decided to purchase a new Samsung TV & have it UHD compatible with the Sky Q Box
However now cannot find where you switch from 8 to ten bit, on set up i had an error message for the ten bit (wasn't recgonised) and if looking at settings it isn't highlighted whatseover. Any solutions guys?

Hi @coventry12
First thing to check is to see if your Q box is capable of UHD/HDR.

Re: UHD problems
Cheers, I've looked at it and it appears my box isn't HDR compatible which is a shame.. anyway is there much of a difference between 8 and 10 bit regardless?

Hi @coventry12
You only really need 10 bit for HDR.
If your Q box is not HDR compatible that's why you cannot see the 10 bit setting
