Totally Confused - HBO, Disney+, TNT, Paramount etc.

Help and sorry if this has all been asked before I have read various threads and still not clear on what has changed, can change and what I need to do going forward

Current Package
Sky Signature
Sky Sports
TNT Sports
Discovery+ Entertainment
HD & UHD

I also have a Disney+ Premium (Annual) Subscription, which is due for renewal in December 2026

I do not like using the Apps within sky as I have poor broadband speed so watching is painful especially if its sport as everything looks far to low framerate and is juddery, being a motorsport and football fan this is really annoying

Disney seams to stream OK via Amazon Firestick though

Questions
Can I save money by signing up for Disney via Sky and will I get all of the features I currently get as a Premium member (UHD for example) and most importantly can I still stream via a Firestick and not have to use sky Q app ?
TNT Sports - I think the channels I pay for will still be available within SKy Q and not the app, however do I still pay extra for these or are they part of the HBO coverage ? if so do I need to still pay extra ? and if I do pay extra is that only to get them on Q so I can record ?
All of the Discorovery + stuff I get does that move to HBO and is it only avaible via Sky app, or can I continue to use my Firestick to stream ?   Can I record any of these on Q or do I have to continue to stream ?
Is all HBO content streamed so for instance the family are really exited about Harry Potter later in the year,  will we have to stream via Sky or is there an app or will HBO appear as a channel on SKy Q and thus we can record shows we are interested in ?
Paramount I thought I was getting this free, is that true ? and same questions does it have to be through sky app, streamed external to sky once I have an account or as a channel I can record
I thought I also read when I first got an email from sky on the new servcies that I would qualify for free Netflix, but I have not seen anything on this since. With my package do I qualify for Netflix or did I misunderstandthis when I read the original email

Thanks for any help you can give me as the communication from sky on this has been woeful

Read the stickies first, they should answer many of your questions:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hbo-max-faqs?irct=cn-svod-hbo-faq%20

...then ask any outstanding questions.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Yes you will save by switching to pay via SKY - although as an annual subscriber you will need to wait for several days for any refund of the remaining sub to be credited back.

Note you will need to give details of you Credit card etc for the £9pm charge to uplift to premium (which is  still  less than paying direct for an annual sub)

Yes you can use any device once switched - I use my Firesticks for most apps including Disney+

TNT Sports - I think the channels I pay for will still be available within SKy Q and not the app, however do I still pay extra for these or are they part of the HBO coverage ? if so do I need to still pay extra ? and if I do pay extra is that only to get them on Q so I can record ?

Should be covered in the FAQs @PandJ2020 posted I think but the existing linear channels via SKY are not changing, just anything previous accessed for TNT via the Discover+ app is now in the HBOMax app
All of the Discorovery + stuff I get does that move to HBO and is it only avaible via Sky app, or can I continue to use my Firestick to stream ?   Can I record any of these on Q or do I have to continue to stream ?

I think it may be covered in the FAQs. HBO content will gradually wind  down on SKY but existing shows remain
Paramount I thought I was getting this free, is that true ? and same questions does it have to be through sky app, streamed external to sky once I have an account or as a channel I can record

Nothing has changed regarding Paramount + - The basic with ads tier  has been free for customers with SKY Cinema for a while (before they introduced tiers in fact) . Like other apps once signed up can be used on any device
I thought I also read when I first got an email from sky on the new servcies that I would qualify for free Netflix, but I have not seen anything on this since. With my package do I qualify for Netflix or did I misunderstandthis when I read the original email
we can't say specifically for you,  but Netflix is not part of SKy Signature  but as a separate add Ultimate which has often been bundled together As you don't list Ultimate TV, I suspect you do not have it

BTW Nothing has changed recently regarding Netflix

Thanks for any help you can give me as the communication from sky on this has been woeful
