Too many similar bundles... confusing

why do Sky have so many similar-sounding tv bundles with minor differences, different ways of accessing content based on how you pay, etc... can't help feeling it's to confuse matters when we call to renegotiate our contracts... surely they could simplify things? My main issue is with Signature and Ultimate bundles

'Signature' replaced 'Entertainment' (a carry over from Sky+ HD)  as the baseline Sky subscription bundle.  'Ultimate TV' arrived when Sky reached a commercial agreement with Netflix for bundled distribution.

Since then, Signature is effectively now a legacy subscription and Ultimate TV has become the default for new subscribers.

Yes, we have Sky Signature and Ultimate TV pack, Ultimate tv pack is £4.50, which is Netflix with ads, we pay a further £5.50 for Netflix no ads. I think we still carry on paying this £4.50 going up to £5.50 even though Netflix with ads is meant to be free with the new bundle coming in March.  Though is Ultimate more expensive than Signature because it includes Netflix., if you just have Ultimate, it's very difficult to know.

Netflix has nothing to do with the new bundle coming in March. Netflix with ads continues to be provided as part of (in fact the only part of) the Ultimate Pack.
