Re: This programme is no longer available

I get the same message, I've ordered a new box to see if that works.

Re: This programme is no longer available

I am also getting this error message and have been for about a week. Only thing that clears it is turning the box on and off and letting it reboot, very annoying to keep doing each time and not getting anywhere with online chat as the error message isn't found?!

I've now got an engineer booked for Thursday afternoon.

Re: This programme is no longer available

@Paulam A new box witll not solve this issue, granted it will work for the fist 2-3 days then will revert back to the issue we all have. I got a replacment box and a new viewing card, still the same issue.

Re: This programme is no longer available

@chipper58  An engineer will do nothing except replace the box, which work as said before, wbut will revert back to the same issue again

When you say "will revert back to the issue we all have", that of course only refers to the people who have reported this on here as nobody but perhaps Sky know of other cases. I'm on the latest software on a 32B106 2TB UHD box and have had no issues but I have had Eco mode turned off straight from the off.

Re: This programme is no longer available

It's not a mode setting issue. I've had eco mode switched off and I'm having the problem.

There is clearly no guarantee that calling an engineer out and replacing the box is going to fix the issue....as people have reported it happening again with replacement boxes already.

@Me134 That reply was as helpful as an ashtray on a motorbike!!

I you care to read the 79 other replies then it's the same issue we are ALL having.

Switching to/from ECO mode bears to relevance to the issue, turning your box to standby bears no relevance either, so again it's an issue we ALL are having!

One of the problems Sky face is that it isn't affecting all Sky Q customers with the latest software update. Obviously only the ones having the issue will likely report it on here or to Sky. This makes the cause more difficult to determine.

Which is what I said to them but obviously they've failed to read or understand my post. I'll use simpler words next time 😉

Re: This programme is no longer available

Is there a benefit to reporting this problem 'officially'?

I don't know if posting on here is enough?

(I obviously don't want an engineer visit or a new box...I just want to make sure they are actually attempting to find a fix)

Re: This programme is no longer available

I'm on my 3rd box so I agree changing the box doesn't solve the Issue. Eco mode is off. My Sky Q box is now controlled by the Sky remote and my TV is controlled by my Samsung remote. I'm not currently getting any issue if I turn my TV off and On with the TV remote and use my Sky remote to turn the box on and off.

@Fadinglight

As the post currently marked as the answer states Sky have a team investigating.

Same issue for me, any sign of progress from Sky?

Re: This programme is no longer available

I've had a new one today, let's see how it goes. It's ridiculous,  we pay enough for the service.
