I'm getting the same. It did it a couple of times yesterday and today I'm just turning it off at the wall  for the third time. I've checked the software is up to date. They obviously have a problem but they say they haven't. 😢😢

I have had the same problem form the last few days. You lot will need to put out an update to fix this and stop.takign people off this chat for a private conversation and sort out what is obviously a common issue.

I've been having this issue for the last week. Had a brand new box last week and still the same issue. Loud whirring noise and have to keep turning it off and restarting it - the recordings keep failing and the programme not available message. It's driving me nuts.

It's not like subscription is cheap either - paying a lot of money for something that I can't use fully

I forced a software update yesterday which put me on Q350.000.12.00L (679jvlc). Haven't had the issue this morning but will keep an eye on it. Anyone else on this version having the problem?

Hope updating works for you. I'm having this issue and I'm already running Q350.000.12.00L (679jvlc). Surely the folks at Sky are going to push out another update to fix this too?

I hope so. I've just been on chat to them and they want me to reset the box but I think they are just clutching at straws. The tech team have been notified and I'm hoping they will sort it

It seems that the issue only occurs for me if I leave the Sky Q box on and turn off the tv. When I come back , the screen is black and I can't switch channels or use recordings or catchup services. If I put the Sky Q box into standby, it seems okay. Is this anyone else's experience?

Exactly the same problem here to, black screen, with sound, then freezes and program no longer available. Driving me nuts having to do a reboot constantly!

Well, I turned everything off last night using the Sky remote (so Sky box, TV and Soundbar all switch off).

 

Turned it on again this morning and the error is back. Having to reboot every morning is ridiculous.

 

Not interested in talking to some chatbot either.

Same issue here, constantly having to reboot main box, black screen, but sound, freezes and program no longer available, only since software update? Driving us nuts, its constant! Done everything that's been linked. Anyone any solution to this please?
