I have switched the sky q box off to resolve this but it hasn't worked. How do I resolve it ?

That doesn't sound like a Sky Q issue, are you sure it's not your TV with a problem?

You are right it was my TV. Now waiting for a sky engineer to fix our satellite . Thanks for your reply
