Subtitles on recorded Al Jazeera programmes.

I like to record Al Jazeera programmes on my SKY box. They always used to have subtitles, that has stopped. 
when I watch a live programme, the subtitles are there, and the same for YouTube. 
Bizarrely, I can start to watch a live programme, such as Bottom Line, and the subtitles are there, then later, when I watch a recording, they are missing. 
I know I have the YouTube and Al Jazeera apps, but would prefer the recorded programmes.
