I have a mini in a gardenroom. I've created a "wired connection" through powerline adaptors. All now connects although has not been fun!
I do have a bizarre problem that I can't understand. If I have the mini off at the wall, my powerline to the main Q is providing me with 85mb (checking via the Netflix app>check network). Once I switch the mini on and perform the same check the main Q box drops to 16mb. what would cause this?
I understand they make their own mesh connection if connected over wifi, but I'm not doing that obviously. Everything is over Ethernet. The bands are all switched off via the engineer menu. So I'm not sure why the connection is being throttled.
