Sound glitching

My sound continually glitches/drops out (about every 20 seconds) on my Sky mini box on live tv, apps and recordings. I have tried every mix of audio settings, have updated my tv (Sony Bravia if relevant) and box to the latest software, tried multiple resets and reboots and nothing has changed. I can't seem to get hold of anyone at Sky and am fed up of this as it ruins the watching experience. Anyone have any suggestions before I cancel my service as I am completely done with this.
