Sound dropping out in standby mode
Hello,
The sound from my sky Q box often drops out when it is in standby mode or is turned off. I then have to turn off the sky box for 1/2 hr then it will sometimes work for several days then stop again. The occurrence of the is getting more frequent. Any ideas?
The TV (Sony bravia) always has sound and if I connect a sky mini box to the same hdmi port it always works.

Hi @RotorHead62 You will get NO sound from your SKYQ box if it is in standby mode, or off??
If you mean after the SKYQ box has been on standby, then try rebooting your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot.
I used to have superpowers… But a therapist took them away.

Re: Sound dropping out in standby mode
- Hi , thanks for the response, when I said I have turn off the box, I meant power off. And it has to be much more than 30secs to get it going again.
