SkyQ - Netflix HD is v poor blockey/ fuzzy.

Hi all,

Ive recently upgraded to SkyQ and took the Netflix subscription discount package but notice the HD Standar quakity is producing fuzzy, blockey pixels.

I've checked the internet speed and DL is 396 mbps.

Any advice would be grateful!

@SmartGuy you say you took the netfluix through Sky do you have the Sky HD package as when you take Netflix through Sky the Netflix package you get depends on the Sky packages you have as below

Hiya with Netflix it depends on what packages you have with Sky, as to how many screens and what resolution you get Netflix in see below so if you do not have the Sky HD package then you only get netflix in SD

Netflix Basic              Sky Ultimate TV Pack (1 screen)

Netflix Standard     Sky  Ultimate TV Pack and Sky HD pack (2 Screens)

Netflix Premium      Sky Ultimate TV Pack and Sky HD pack plus Sky UHD Pack  (4 Screens)

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

@SmartGuy that would suggest you don't have the Sky HD pack subscription (as if you had the HD package it would be listed along side the signature subscription) in which case you will get Netflix  basic which is in SD and can only be watched on 1 Screen at a time

Ah sorry yes I have also the following showing alongside

(it's not easy to distiguish what you actually have as opposed to what is an upgrade.

I have found it by downloading a paper bill.

Services I have are

Sky Signature

Ultimate TV AddOn

SkyHD

Apols for my confusion.

Regards NOT so SmartGuy 😁

Apparently it's now 720p rather than SD: Netflix dropped 480p (in the US and UK at least) at the end of last year.

The standalone UK Netflix plans are now
