SkyQ Box Network Connection
Occasionally the wired network connected to my Sky Q box will claim to have lost its connection. Using the Settings menu to reset the Network doesn't help and results in the box unable to get a DHCP IP4 address. The box keeps asking for one blocking anything else from getting one. This netwok chattering keeps going on until a cold start of the box cures it and it connects to the network again without complaint.
I wonder if this is a known issue and whether it's connected to hardware about to fail or a software bug.
Any info gratefully received.

Re: SkyQ Box Network Connection
Hi @CanardNoir If you are fully wired, have you turned off WiFi on the box(es)?

But did you disable wifi in the installer's menu?

Re: SkyQ Box Network Connection
No I haven't.
That will help?
Both 2.5GHz and 5GHz networks have been disabled now.

Re: SkyQ Box Network Connection
2.4 (it's not intended to be half of 5, just a random part of the EM spectrum that happens to be near half that frequency)
it sometimes decides to try to use wifi if you don't do this. No idea why. So this might help.

Re: SkyQ Box Network Connection
Thanks, we'll see.
The constant network chattering was quite alarming (not over Wi-Fi - that was silent).
