Sky vip and engineer vist

Have been a sky customer for over 25 years so I am classed asa VIP have booked a engineer vist for 26 th Feb to fix Sky q issues,

So what does a VIP get me? I thought that I would get a faster service being a VIP but no

It looks like becoming a VIP has done nothing for me`

Nothing about faster service I'm afraid.  (TBH 26 Feb is stunning as many are reporting visits weeks away)

If you explain your issues we might be able to provide some insight.

@Garry+Millar

All Sky customers have VIP status on their accounts even new that have had their services activated recently so it doesn't give you any special status or treatment above anyone else. Depending what tier you are on it might get you a few extra eateries n a cfree moetition or a few different rewards but that it about it.

The problem is that the network connection will not work no matter what I try to do

Paying for Sky Protect Device Insurance used to do so, but it appears even that is now not guaranteed (they just refund a daily rate, which is negligible)

Realistically Sky simply has fewer personnel doing satellite platform field support these days.

I presume Q box connecting to your router?

Is your ISP Sky?  Can you connect via Ethernet?

@Garry+Millar have you tried pressing the WPS button on your Sky box, and then within 30 seconds pressing the WPS button on your Sky Hub?
