Re: Sky stream
A Q subscriber can choose to move to Stream: note it's not an 'upgrade', but a very different product.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Can you upgrade your sky Q box to sky stream
As @TimmyBGood indicates, Sky Stream offers a very different means of watching TV. Just because it's newer, doesn't necessarily make it better.
Do some research and make sure the service Stream provides will work for you, both in terms of your broadband infrastructure and the manner in which you watch TV.
If you currently record a lot of programmes and like to fast forward through the ads quickly and easily then Sky Stream is most definitely not for you.
You can switch mid-contract from Q to Stream, but only onto a new 18 month contract. You can try Stream out for 31 days and see if you like it before returning your Q equipment. If you decide it's not for you or your broadband can't cope with the strain you can easily switch back to Q within that 31 day period.
