Hi I am have some problems with 

my sky plus box I know sky won't 

pair my veiwing card to a another sky plus box

if I buy a second hand sky q box 

can I pair my veiwing card in the sky q box

or do I have to phone sky

You cannot buy SKY Q boxes - they all belong to SKY & should be returned when the contract ends 

Although I think that recently they might have stopped requiring the very old non UHD boxes to be returned - even if you got one of these SKY would not pair your card to one.  

You can probably switch to SKY Q for free & to do so you would need to call SKY

Hi @neil.gtis   All Sky Q boxes are free on loan, why would you buy one? Simply call Sky and upgrade to Sky Q while you still can.

Call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn't allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

All calls will start automated (aka 'the bot') which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.
