Yes - there are many customers using BT / EE with SKY Q
Personally I have always been with BT (now EE) although my main box is connected via Ethernet to the Router
BTW you may also wish to know, if your provider is not SKY (e.g. BT) then any minis do not use your wifi but a wifi signal generated by the main box
