Sky q recordings

My recordings have disappeared from my sky q 

I had a full series and it is not on the box anymore 

I have not deleted the series

Can anyone help

Were they  recordings made from when they aired on a TV channel or were they downloads ? 

For many series the rights expire and when this happens downloads , in particular, may be removed

 

What was the series ?
