My remote doesn't work the sky Q box sometimes the only way to repair it is to turn off at the main and back on again and it's ok, sometimes the channel your watching plays but the remote won't change of control any thing until you turn off the box and back on again, I have paired up the remote with the tv and I have changed the battery twice after testing them,any ideas??

Hi @davidduck22
First try a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
With the Q box back on
Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
Resetting the settings will also reset:
Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.

I tried the first reset today after receiving no satellite signal for a couple days. Now I can't even access any of the on demand services and recordings and downloads etc. literally nothing available anymore. When settings does first reset change that night affect this
