Sky minis will not connect

Sky minis will not connect to sky q box despite software update and good WiFi  they also keep disconnecting from WiFi despite good signal

@Unhappy261 who is your broadband provider ? 

If it's Sky what router do you have black or white ?

Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

then rebooting your mini ?

Virgin broadband. We have tried everything on Sky Help pages. Main Q box has software updated but can't connect minis  to  WiFi or q box

@Unhappy261 right with a third party broadband provider your main Q box will ony connet to your Virgin router on the 2.4Ghz band on the router. Conneccting minis they will not connet diret to the router insted they do need to be onneted to your main box by way of WPS button.

are you getting any error messages when you try and connect the mini boxes

Have the mini boxes ever connected ?
