Hello
Every time I turn my TV on the sky mini box doesn't connect and I get the message "check device power" on my TV. If I then turn off the mini box and back on, after some time it then connects and appears. This now happens every time so I think the box is faulty.

Assume you are putting your mini into Standby when not in use?
First step would then be to turn on the mini.
If you have HDMI Cec control turned on in the mini settings and also the TV settings then the TV should come on when you switch on the mini from Standby.
Unfortunately HDMI control does not switch the TV off and both TV and Mini need switching into standby separately.
