Sky catch up has stopped working saying no signal

Power been off for 6 days no signal on live TV but was able to watch recordings and download programmes. Suddenly at 6pm not able to see recordings or download saying no signal!!!

Sounds like your dish has gone out of alignment with the satellite.  The Sky Q box needs to occasionally carry out a location check, which it does  via the dish.  If this is not successful, all functions of the box are disabled.  You can either try to book a Sky engineer, but this will probably be many weeks away due to the impact of the recent storms, or try a local independent (at your own cost)
