Sky box not working

Message appearing.

"Please check the power of the device and cable connection status" How do I  fix this?

Hi @MichaelFewer 

That is a TV message saying basically that it cannot see any device connected to the TV HDMI input.

Remove the HDMI cable ftom the TV and the Q box and then refit it making sure that is corrected fitted.

Check that the TV is switched to the correct HDMI input and try powering on the Q box again.

@MichaelFewer  Using the Sky Q remote try the following commands on the remote Home 1080 Home

 

This should set the boxes resolution to 1080, then try cycling through the HDMI inputs using your TV remote.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
