Sky W mini box

I have a Sky Q mini box bring delivered offered by a Sky advisor but was very vague about how much this would cost 

He gave the impression that the box was free and no monthly subscription charges. Is this correct

The monthly subscription is by way of a Multiscreen subscription. Without that the box won't work.

If you already have a main Q box then a Mini box requires the Multiscreen subscription supplement on the account to actually work: that typically costs around £15 a month.  The first Mini is usually 'free' as in no up front cost for the hardware loan.
