Sky Sports not displaying in HD?

Hi. I've just upgraded my package to take advantage of a Sky Sports  deal and added the HD option at the time. 

Now I'm back from work I can see I have access to all the Sports channels in HD from 401 to 408 but strangely Sky Sports News (409)  is displaying in SD. 

Anyone got any clues why that might be or experienced the same thing? 

I've been a subscriber before so know that its not normal.

The escalation will be able to sort you.

Just in case you don't know, however, SKY Sports News is not actually part of SKY SPorts subscription but part of SKY Signature and as such does need the separate HD pack that you also added.

Thus I guess the thing to ask - although may now be sorted - is whether you could access the other 'Signature' channels  in HD

Thnaks for that and yes I just discovered that quirk this morning when I phoned up to ask about the issue. 

The sky employee didn't actually tell me this but told me about a VIP gift of 4 months 'free' HD and UHD upgrade. 

That wasn't quite honest as it's just as an offer which will then switch to £9pm per month in December.  

I had no idea Sky charges such an up charge for having HD for standard sky channels. It's bad enough having to pay for Sports HD in 2023.

Just feels underhand.
