hi @Torque
the Freesat 4K boxes can be a little temperamental at first with the wideband LNBs that SKY Q uses
Please see some steps that our kind user here - @Godfrey - has found that seem to work for most people

Re: Sky Q to Freesat
Thanks. I will give it a go.
I had read that you may have to leave it overnight to receive a signal. Is this correct ?
Are Freesat aware of this ? No mention on their site, and of course its Saturday so cant ring them.

I think the overnight element that we used to mention is the part mentioned in the steps regarding 30 minutes so probably the 30 mins or so maybe all that is necessary.
I have no idea whether Freesat are aware.

Re: Sky Q to Freesat
@Torque This is where I found the advice that I posted;
Freesat box initially cannot find Wideband LNB signals

Re: Sky Q to Freesat
Thanks.
Looking in settings my software version is v.1.4.3 which is old so it looks like it needs an update to v1.5.0 or later.

Re: Sky Q to Freesat
Thanks guys. Once i had managed to force the box to do a software update all is fine.
Pity Freesat dont ship these with uptodate software. Mine was updated last in Feb 22 !
Thanks again.
