Sky Q remote will not pair with box

Remote will not pair with box. I've tried all self help and got a new remote. Box otherwise works fine.

As you say the box otherwise works fine, does that mean that you can control the box with the remote ?

If so is this only in Infrared mode or can you use in bluetooth mode (which allows Voice control)  ?

If you can use Voice control then it is paired in bluetooth mode but possibly not for using with your TV

I can work the box through the sky app on my iPhone. Doesn't control volume,

The sky remote, now a brand new one,  looks to work fine, but doesn't have any operability of the sky q box at all.

Ah OK

Have you done a full power down restart (unplug or switch off at mains) of your Q box ?

I know you say you have done  all the self help but I will post what you have probably tried but stress a couple of the key points

For the  reset of your remote:

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times

Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared (You may need to make sure the IR receiver on the box is not blocked in any way)
