Sky Q mini

My sky Q box wouldn't come on this morning unless you pushed the button on the box to turn it on, then on the screen it says accessibility on sky Q then says push settings or skip and set up later, but it wont let me push either of them I have tried turning it on and off but nothing I had the same problem a couple of months ago which use couldnt help and had to send me a new box but the box is only couple of months old

hi @Jamieshae 

This message seems to have caused a bit of a quirk so try this:


Press & hold 4 & 6 on the remote to set to Infrared only (so must have line of sight of the box)


Hopefully you can then dismiss the message
Then try re-pairing in bluetooth mode with the box by pressing & holding 1 & 3 together

If this does not work try a full remote reset by pressing & holdng 7 & 9 until the red led above the SKY logo button flashes 4 times

Then try the 1&3 to re-pair & pair with the TV

hi @Jamieshae 

First reset your Mini remote with the Q box on with green led.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
This will put the remote into infrared mode which will then control your Mini box.  You must point the remote directly at the mini box.

You should let you get past the accessibility settings.

When you have full control over the mini you can the re pair the remote by Bluetooth.

Make  sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
