Sky Q mini box won’t turn on

Hi, I have the sky Q mini box, but it won't switch on, I've turned it off at the wall, but it still doesn't work, any other suggestions?

Hi @Tommythehat 

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the mini box.
If this turns the mini box on
Try completly resetting your mini Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Hi @Tommythehat

I bought mini sky q nox 3 months ago, it worked straight away, then all of a sudden it just switched off, ive tried everthing the the sky guided me and there is still no conections to my mini sjy q bix

@Marley55 firstly where did you get the mini box from ?

secondly you don't buy mini boxes they are loaned to you from Sky for an admin fee

finally saying you have tried everything doesn't help us to try and help you you need to explain exactly what you have tried who you broadband provider is and if there have been any other changes you have made broadband/electrically in your house and any error messages you may be seeing on screen

I have unplugged my television down stairs as well the upstairs and the router, left for a few minutes then plugged them all back in and still nothing from my mini q box upstairs

As already stated you did NOT buy it from Sky. Mini boxes, like the main box, are loaned to you and must be returned at the cancellation of your subscription or Multiscreen. The £59 would have been an activation fee.

@Marley55 so is Sky your broadband provider and just be clear you say you have turned television upstairs and downstairs off do you mean you have rebooted your TV's or  your Sky Q main box and Sky Q mini box ?

Yes I've rebooted mini q sky box, when switch everything back in a red light comes on mini q sky box then goes straight off
