Sky Q mini box freezing

Evening, 

At the end of my tether now and after some help/advice! 
We have been with sky for over 2 years now and in the last six months our mini box keeps freezing. Only on live tv or recordings. Netflix, prime, Disney etc it's fine. 
We have had two engineers who cannot find a fault. The main box and the mini box have both been replaced now. 

I have turned the mini box on this evening to watch some TV and it is still freezing!! The engineers pretty much said there isn't anymore that can be done. Surely there is a fix? And we don't have to just put up with it. I'm paying for a service and not getting that service. 

anyone have any bright ideas?

We have also lost the ITVX app on the mini box. 
and the mini box is making a strange noise now since the new one was installed today!

Is anyone able to help with this? We're now on our second new mini box in a matter of weeks and the picture is still freezing. 
WiFi is fine as we can watch Netflix etc. it's only live tv and recordings. Third engineer visit now booked!
