Sky Q keeps losing internet connection

Was sent a new sky router about a month ago when I renewed my sky broadband package. Since then my sky Q box (and mini boxes) keep losing internet connectivity after about 5 minutes. I've tried everything and followed all the recommendations on different forums. The last router (the black one) worked fine. Can I not just have that back???

  • It's not your hub it SKY there is a problem with the network which should be fixed in a couple of days if not sooner, I have had the same problem this morning.

@Dan227 The new white max router works differently to how the black router works.

The white router doesn't join your mesh as the black did so you need to connect your main box to the white router by treating it as a third party router and any mini boxes need connecting direct to you main Q box by way of the WPS button

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

This seems unlikely. The new router from Sky works differently from the old one and this problem is very common.
