Sky Q dropping BT broadband

Help me regain my sanity!

 

i cant access my apps at all through my sky box.  The box is continually dropping signal, regaining and then losing it again.

 

I have reset everything, the router and checked network connectivity for each device, all of which are holding wifi except the Sky Q box.  I know this because I can access and watch Netflix without any interruption through the app on the tv but not through sky.  My deduction is that the sky Q box is at fault.  Can anyone help resolve this please?
