Hello,
I've had my Sky Q box since 2021 and never had an issue with it.
In the last month or so, it will crash on average around 1-5 times per week. The only way to resolve this is to unplug it and restart it.
There is no trigger for the crash. Sometimes I'll be watching something and the image will cut out and the box will no longer respond. Sometimes the screen will freeze if I've opened an app. Sometimes the box will crash in standby and refuse to come out of standby mode. In all cases, the box becomes completely unresponsive to any inputs.
I've run a software update on the box but this did not seem to resolve the issue. The last time it crashed was about three days ago.
Any advice on how to resolve this? It's a bit challenging given it is an intermittent issue, but extremely annoying when it occurs.
