Sky Q box not working

Sky Q box screen is just still black and showing "you will be ready to go in a couple of minutes" and has been for ten minutes now even after a hard reset also I can see a red light coming from the back and never seen a red light before coming from there

Hi @realdion Try rebooting your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot?

The red light at the back of the SKYQ box is from the optical audio output socket.

Hi thanks for that 

I have tried that but only once 

I will try it again I won't be able to stand it no tv on a day like this might as well go back to bed 

oh by the way will sky go work ?

@realdion Yes SKY Go should work on a compatable device.
