Sky Q box has lost thumbnails

Sky Q has lost all thumbnails, have tried many times to turn off and reboot but nothing works to rectify

Hi @Beachhutgirl Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on?

Try rebooting your router by switching off for a couple of minutes. Then, reboot the main Sky Q box, then once that’s back up and running do the same with any mini boxes if necessary-
~ Using the remote put your main Sky Q box into standby
~ switch the box off at the plug
~ wait at least 30 seconds and then switch the box back on at the plug
~ follow the on screen instructions
~ when the screen goes blank and the blue Q stops pulsating wait another 30 seconds
~ press the 🏠 button

It might be time to call Sky but they will advise you to do the troubleshooting we've already suggested.

@Beachhutgirl -same here. Happened this morning. Just two recordings have thumbnail pictures-the rest have disappeared.

I've just  rebooted my Sky router and Sky Q box, as suggested above and after about 5 minutes all thumbnails have returned. Thanks.

Turn off TV and SKY Q AT SOCKETS and wait for 2 minutes then turn them back on.
Go to settings using Sky Q remote, NOT your TV remote.

Then go to Network connection and check for a Network Connection. Should show a tick ✔️
If no ✔️ go to Network setup and follow instructions for setting up router connections including inputting your router password. 
Ensure that you input the router password correctly and that will hopefully fix it. 

I had this problem and checking my TV settings using TV REMOTE (LG OLED) it showed I had a WIFI connection to TV from router, but for some reason SKY Q Box wasn't picking it up, but checked on SKY Q remote it said no connection??? Despite the fact I did when checking the TV SETTINGS using my TV REMOTE. 

 

When turning on TV using Sky q remote it kept saying it had no WIFI connection on Home Screen above program pictures and virtually all the recordings thumbnails were missing! 
Try the above method but use the SKY Q Remote only. 
If you re establish a WiFi connection (or different connection from the menu choices given) you should then have all thumbnails back on screen.
