Sky Q box cutting out

It started with the 'no satellite signal' error this morning and, although that's now resolved, the box keeps crashing every 30 seconds or so.

I get a blank screen for about 3 seconds but sometimes restarts completely. Tried dozens of different channels and the same keeps happening. Also happens when watching a recording. I suspect it's related to the ongoing Sky issues but I doubt they'll ever admit it.

At present, watching anything on the Q box or the mini upstairs is extremely frustrating and have had to give up watching TV....which I pay Sky a lot of money for!

For the record, all boxes have had full reboots and forced software updates. The Q box has had 2 reboots now and issue not resolved (except for the sat signal). Also checked all cables and rebooted internet connection (via Ethernet to Sky Max Hub).

Evidence is key when taking on Sky so would  like to know if anyone else is having the same issue. Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix it, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Re: Sky Q box cutting out

UPDATE:  After a shutdown for a few hours I decided to try again.

The Q box has got worse and now goes off every 10 seconds and the sound has gone too.

Tested TV direct and on other connected devices and no issues there. So definitely the Sky Q box.

The useless Sky app Service Checker is saying that there are no issues with my setup.

Hoping that there's a fix overnight but not holding my breath!

Hi @DSN6   Is this the Check that you are using?

Re: Sky Q box cutting out

That's the one. Just tried the online version as well as the app. Same result unfortunately. Very frustrating.
