Sky Q bandwidth

I had an issue with broadband dropping the sky Q engineer came out and changed the bandwidth on my boxes to 2.4 from 5

would this effect my tv picture or my poor picture would it be a coincidence

Live TV is from the dish so wouldn't be affected.   Unless you're talking about streaming?
