Sky Q and Sky Stream
Good Morning,
brief story- My Father in law died in January and had been a Sky customer for about 30 odd years. He had the Sky Q box that he and my Mother in law used with no problems.
Due to my Morher in laws mobility issues we moved her closer to where we live.
we visited a sky pop in shop in our local shopping centre and explained that she was moving etc and wanted Sky but just not the full package anymore. She doesn't watch sports etc.
the guy said cancel in my Father in laws name and take out the new subscription in my Mother in laws name. We did but she has Sky stream. She literally can't use it, she can't get used to it and wants Sky Q back. She pretty much used to watch programmes my wife would record for her, causing all kinds of stress for us and more importantly my 68 year old mother in law.
Any advice would be very grateful. Thank you

Re: Sky Q and Sky Stream
At the moment she can still change / revert to Sky Q but it's only obtainable by calling Sky.

If the account is in your MiLs name, she would need to call or contact them (she can hand the phone off to you once security is passed if needed) and specifically ask, be aware that the Q price will no doubt be higher.

Re: Sky Q and Sky Stream
Thanks. They used to pay about £170+ a month and in her new place only about £30+ for the stream, I think she would be really happy to pay extra for the usage she had with Sky Q.
thanks again it's much appreciated.

I'd estimate about twice what she's paying for Stream but way less than what must have been a pretty full package.
